On the Russia-Ukraine war, the president says he spoke today with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The president says they also discuss Middle East and says he told Putin he could be helpful by ending the attacks on Ukraine.

Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer says Americans don't want a repeat of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Last week, both the House and Senate voted down a resolution that would have limited the president's military action in Iran.

Federal charges filed against two men who authorities say threw homemade bombs near the New York City mayor's residence.

Ibrahim Qayoumi and Amir Balat were arrested Saturday.

They had an initial court appearance this afternoon.
