And then what happens is, you know, unfortunately a lot of autistic people do die by suicide.

The risk is seven times higher than the general population.

It's even higher for

Trans people with autism.

um and any kind of multiple identities.

They um

We we get to that place where we withdraw and we either draw on our strengths

Um by you know, problem solving, by really looking at

you know, who we are as a person and it's

through and our honesty.

Um w being honest with ourselves.

And you know, we end up we end up getting to that place and coming out, I think.

a little bit stronger.

I think that is where that resilience comes from.

But I do think a lot of us end up withdrawing, which is we do for self care.

That's another thing that autistic people do for self care.

But you know, thinking about during that withdrawing, what's going on, we're problem solving, we're thinking.

We're ruminating.

We may be doing other things of self care as well.
