And they worked together extremely well.

And quite often in these ships, there's just one or perhaps two doctors if it's one of the larger cruisers.

And she's working with Dr James and they fall in love.

And so they start working together and become engaged to be married.

She saw the most extraordinary structure being built there

you know, by all the local shipbuilders in the Harland and Wolfe shipyards.

And she is completely and utterly mesmerised.

And this, of course, is the second ship in the White Star Line's Olympic class of ship.

And in fact, there's a fascinating backstory to the building of these glamorous super liners that the White Star are building because there's a huge corporate fight going on between the White Star line and the Cunard line.

Think Packer versus Murdoch on the high seas.

It was a fight to the death.

And the Cunard line has cornered the market in speed.

And so J. Bruce Ismay, the owner of the White Star line, decides, okay, you've got speed.

We're going to corner the market in luxury.

So he comes up with the idea for this Olympic class of ship.

The first one is actually called the Olympic.

The second, which Evelyn sees being built, is the Titanic.

And there was meant to be a third, and that was going to be called the Gigantic.

But as fate would have it, when you sink a ship the size of the Titanic, you don't actually get to build the Gigantic.

Because you're probably not going to sell too many tickets.
