You know, so I think there are a lot of things that can be done within the institution um to try to phys uh to to try to change this culture.
And I also think that we need to think about this on a more societal level, which of course requires um cooperation of people beyond doctors and and and researchers.
So thinking about how society thinks about end-of-life care, you know, whether or not um this is a welcomed conversation.
conversation in the policy realm, um, whether or not, you know, even things like whether whether or not Hollywood has like realistic depictions of CPR and that sort of thing.
I and yeah, so I think that um there's many ways that we can approach this.
Um I mean, of course there's also things like death caffe uh death

Uh and death cafes and those sort of things.
And and you know, just there's a lot of um efforts out there to try to change that culture.

Well, I was about to say that I think that the feeding tubes and and uh choosing wisely campaigns have been really helpful with that.
So really good education uh around feeding tubes has been helpful.

And you speak of this in your editorial, but I think there have been some really interesting high profile cases over the last several years.
Jahai McMath, somebody in California who was declared brain dead, but continued to grow and even have a menstrual period.
And you also speak in your article of somebody who made it through pregnancy, somebody who died.
