Well, um so it's it's my fourth novel.

It's a very pretty cover.
Yeah, I like it.
The the cover arms may be um beguiling because it's it's a relentless, very intense book and the cover is is quite pretty.
Um but it's about a vet tech named Don Smith and she lives in rural South Carolina.
She meets who she thinks is the man of her dreams, but then she catches him in a lie.
And breaks off the relationship.
You would think, Okay, game over, but he refuses to accept the breakup and he starts to stalk and harass her so so severely that she has to get a restraining order.
And then to make matters worse, he sues her and her mom for guardianship and conservatorship of her mom of her aging mom.
And you may think, well, how can you do that?
But I actually lived through someone suing for guardianship of my mom.
And so um, yeah, just when you think it can't get worse for her, it gets worse and worse.
And part of why I made it so tough for her legally is because I went through a guardianship battle for my mom.
And so writing about it again, as we talked about, was cathartic for me.
And I also interviewed 10 women who had stalkers.
