So we've got a startup company now looking at a way of monitoring platinum drugs.

Platinum drugs are used in over 50% of all chemotherapies.

And yet we do not have a very good way of dosing them.

There's really terrible, three quarters of all patients get terrible side effects after the first dose.

And so the reason for that is that there's just no good way of monitoring it.

And so we've developed a new method where we can take the patient's blood, use our fluorescent sensors and then determine the blood concentration.

And so that will really be able to guide clinical trials in the future.

But also we envision being able to actually monitor patients.

And so then we can control their dose much better.

Well, fortunately, we've taken it out of the patients.

And so we're about to run our first clinical trial.

And we hope that patients will see the benefit of getting more information in this case.

We had been planning a clinical trial in Jordan, but the first one we're running is actually at the Peter Mac in Melbourne.

Yes, we are.

I think in Australia, the news is sort of a blanket statement about the Middle East.

And fortunately, Jordan is very well protected by all of its neighbours and internationally.

So we've been inconvenienced in terms of air travel, but not felt unsafe at all.

Yeah.

The US bases in Jordan are very far away from Amman.
