So they have a lot of fun.
There's a lot of fun running throughout all of their songs.
If you listen, a lot of lightheartedness.
If you like Chemical Brothers, if you like Underworld, Orbital...
Weevil, those kinds of bands, then this is something that you might gravitate toward.
It's party music.
It's either going to the party, coming home from the party, being at the party.
Somehow or another, the party is with Over Mono.
That song that you mentioned, Night in Shining Prada, features a poet, John Joseph Holt.
Apparently what he did is he wrote this cut when he was walking his dog.
what he's doing is he's talking to a brother of his that he lost.
It's actually a little bit of a binding moment between this poet and Overmano because he is attracted to the energy that his brothers have because he can't have that anymore with his own brother.
And it's kind of sad when you know that, but it also gives a little more drama, a little more meaning, a little more movement to that song.
So whether he's talking to his brother or his dog
or whatever the case is, it seems to have a very powerful effect.
Oh my gosh, Stephen, you picked the right week to ask that.
We are doubling down on our music commitment to the community.
I mean, Detroit...
is such a huge music town.
And we are adding two new shows here at WDET, which makes me so excited.
