So basically she will always say, you know, going on duty as a teacher is sometimes like, you know, you've just finished teaching and you have to go out on duty.

And so, like...

Just flipping it like it's a sunny day.

I get to go out on duty, you know, like flipping the, because actually our jobs as teachers are amazing.

And like, I guess I've seen both sides.

So I've been not in education, I've been in education and being able to really, you know, shape that.

young minds is a pretty awesome um place to be so we do sometimes need to just just remember that we get a bit caught up in the day-to-day yeah um that's why the breaks are important the breaks are important and I used to when I first came to education and you know everything kind of um

we start to be a little bit more PC about everything.

I remember hearing teachers not calling the holidays non-contact time.

So I started going, yeah, it's non-contact time because it is non-contact time.

But the reality is in those days,

breaks you can have a break yeah your pace is so much lower even if you're going into school you don't need to go and i'm really hope that you don't need to go into school you know yeah the whole break or a week of the break it actually is what we should i heard um claire amos who's a awesome principal on the shore just like say we should own it like it's a benefit of our profession and i would love to start drawing more people to the profession because it is awesome

It's kind of one of those things that has to come with the job.

I'm trying to say flip it for the positive, but I also find the breaks quite – you know, we all get what they call the Sunday scary.

So in my first few years of teaching, like after every holiday, you're like –

But I always would just remind myself, just get to the end of Monday, get to the end of Monday, and it'll be fine.

Once you're back with the kids, it's all great, but it's a bit of a... And then you go, okay, teachers save all of their jobs for the holidays, like dentists get their car warranted like you do, and you're like...

Did I do all the stuff?

Did I relax?

And it's something that, yeah, that I would be lying if I said there weren't like nights where
