I think the short version is I do think Luka will probably win one.

It is partially up to him and it is very much up to the Lakers as well because they have to build the right roster around him and they need to get on that sooner than later.

And I'm very curious to see what this new ownership and administration do because they have started to hire other people in that front office.

They have not replaced Rob Palenka, obviously, but they're bringing other people to augment at minimum.

People around the league are taking notice and they're all very curious where this is going to go.

And then just real quick,

Luka in his second season finished fourth in MVP.

I'd forgotten this till I looked it up.

So he was getting noticed right off the bat.

Then he finished sixth, fifth, eighth, third, did not last season at all over the injuries plus trade.

And we don't know where he's finishing this year.

I imagine he'll finish somewhere in the top five this year.

So he's had a lot of top five finishes already.

I think he'll probably break through at some point, but like, they're going to have to have an outstanding season and he's going to have to have an outstanding season.

And he's probably going to have to play, you know, at minimum because the rule still exists, uh, 65 games, um, you know, and hopefully more.
