So why did Missoula get so much more run for coach of the year than Mitch Johnson?

Like, I thought about this a lot.

So first of all, we don't know coach of the year yet.

We do know the finalists.

They're both in it along with Bickerstaff.

The NBA will resume next year.

uh revealing awards once they get to a point i had to clarify this again this morning this is a dead week for um awards after this whole flurry of them the last two weeks it's because the nba doesn't want to do it when teams are playing they want to do it on off night and right now we're on that schedule where there are games every single night so once there is a hole in the schedule we will finally get coach of the year and then mvp and then they'll finally do all nba and all defensive and i think all rookie teams are still left too um i voted for mitch johnson

I don't know how it's all going to play out.

To the extent that we don't know what the vote is, but that voters seem to be more gravitating toward Missoula, I agree that that's the perception.

I think it's just the Celtics were the bigger shock.

They were missing their best player in Jason Tatum.
