They had the offseason where they go and they flip MPJ for Cam Johnson, and they get Bruce Brown, and they get Tim Hardaway Jr.
They really round out that roster around their core of Jamal Murray, Aaron Gordon, and Nikola Jokic.
They get off to a great start, 12-3.
And it seems like they are going to push OKC for their throne and just injuries after injuries after injuries have happened to them.
But they've they've stayed afloat a lot because, you know, Adelman and his staff has done really, really well and they have been able to develop players.
As the injuries have have accumulated, you know, you talk about Spencer Jones, who's done really, really well.
Peyton Watson coming into form, you know, he's injured right now.
But right now they're in a weird place where during a stretch run, they have to both find a rhythm and implement new pieces back into the fold.
And like Aaron Gordon.
And that is a tough balance to have.
On the way this morning, I thought of two teams that are comps, that are kind of comps.
I thought about the 0-1 Lakers, which you talked about, which you covered, excuse me.
And I thought about the 0-8, 0-9 Boston Celtics.
And the Lakers are the best case scenario in this situation because they were injured for most of that year, stayed afloat, went through a lot of LA BS, but they stayed afloat and then went on the best run in NBA history.
And then you think about the 08-09 Celtics where they're off of a title and they're just chronically injured.
And we can also make this case for the next team we're going to talk about.
But I don't know what they're going to be right now.
But I know if they're fully healthy, I'm really scared of them.
And if they're not healthy, that really sucks for basketball.
