The sounds of prayer inside the house, the sound of Peter's voice outside the gate, and the sound of Peter knocking continuously while the people inside are trying to explain it away.

The crazy part is that they were close enough to hear.
But not yet willing to open the door.
See being near the answer is not the same thing as receiving the answer.
Before we get to the door, we have to understand what the church is carrying.
See Acts chapter 12, as you know, it opens up about James, uh, the brother of John dying.
Now, James is not just some ordinary biblical individual.
James is of the three: Peter, James, and John.
He was the one that was at the Garden of Gethsemane.
He was the one that was the most closest to Jesus.
He was a brother, a friend, a leader, a pastor, an apostle.
DOD!
And Herod saw that James's death pleased the people, so he arrested Peter too.
James was the test, but Peter was the repeat.
Herod literally built a system around it.
Four squads of soldiers, that's sixteen, and Peter was chained between two of them and two door guards at the door.
But let's look at verse number five.
It says, So Peter was kept in prison.
But earnest prayer for him was made to God by the church.
