I hope it's difficult because it's a weighty thing.

I mean, I'd like him to think it's difficult, but it's what you have to do, right?

So it takes real courage and identity to sort of get another role and bounce back from that and redefine yourself in the next role.

One of the things I like about Ed Miliband is that he's, apart from being my friend, he's someone who had the biggest slap in the face you can get.

He lost an election and he decided to stay in Westminster politics and start again and come back through a cabinet role.

I think that breeds in.

Duncan Smith did the same sort of thing.

I think that breeds courage and strength and the ability to make tough decisions.

And I think Rachel will benefit from that.

But I really hope she gets a senior job.
