banks now we've just talked about the fact that ba banks have been particularly bad at forecasting the housing market.
But they're actually particularly good at forecasting
future interest rates.
That's their business that's in business.
If they can't get if they can't manage the forward yield curve well, then they're going to lose money.
So when you see banks cutting T Ds and yeah, we should also then soon see cuts on fixed interest rates for lending.
It means the banks are increasing they're basically on their own books, they're increasing the probabilities that we've reached the top of the interest rate cycle and potentially even the next move might be a cut.
And I think the probabilities of that are increasing because of the slowdown in the economy.
