We have these hyperscalers building out their own sovereign clouds within Europe.

And another challenge I think in Europe is the fact that we could start building out our own platforms but probably we will still depend on a lot of technology which is not European.

So it's about the entire stack, it's about the data, it's about the process, it's about the technology and being able to have all of that

at your own fingertips, knowing who is controlling the code and being used to build out that own cloud platform.

And that's probably a massive job to close the gap, if it's even possible.

I think it's like you say, Lieven, maybe we take a look at it today as it's or a hyperscaler or something else.

and i think the answer there it might be and both indeed it's by building out and what exactly do you mean like depending on what kind of information is really crucial what kind of information what kind of workloads what kind of context you're in you might imagine that you invest in a lot of local data centers and there is a natural disaster

And then the public cloud might be your backup plan.

If I'm not mistaken, that's what Ukraine had to do after Russia invaded them.

They had to evacuate certain workloads back to the public cloud.

I read they had to change the law because there was a lot of personal information, which is now at a hyperscaler.

But at least they can still offer their services to their citizens.

So there they have to make choices.

And that's what Lieven said.

I think at the beginning it's about managing your risk.

It's about making the right choice within the right context.

I was reading in preparation of today.

I was still doing some research.

I was reading on the Belgian defense.

I saw that Theo Franken announced that they will invest a lot in data centers to build the sovereign clause for the Belgian army.
