So they're kind of marking your homework on whether you were the most successful trader in the world or not. matched

But he's sort of saying, yeah, he was an excellent trader, but maybe not quite to the hyperbolic levels he describes himself as. matched

Well, I suppose to try and, in a friendly way, push back a tiny bit, what I'd say is that you're in the public eye. matched

In a way, they're paying you the compliment of paying attention, right? matched

And when you reach a certain level of success, I've had it a couple of times over the years, and you've got a message that discomforts certain people, then they will come after you. matched

And it doesn't mean it feels nice. matched

And actually... matched

It is weird. matched

If you've ever been doorstepped by a journalist or approached or photographed when you weren't expecting to at what felt like a private thing, it's surprisingly intrusive and feels like a violation. matched

And that doesn't bring out the best part of you, is what I would like. matched

You can react angrily and you think, who am I becoming? matched

I don't know if you experience that. matched

It's a feeling of like, wow, you feel like... You can react in a way you might not be proud of, but nevertheless... matched

It's sort of what happens. matched

I'm not trying to trivialise it or minimise it, but when you're at a certain level, that's what happens. matched

And I guess my takeaway is like, it's interesting... Not interesting. matched

What I see is that it's very upsetting to you. matched
