She went down into the cellar and she noticed, despite the lack of lighting, that there was a dark figure sitting on one of the boxes.

She s she screamed and raced back up the steps, which is exactly what I do.

And uh she said to her brother, There's someone in the basement.

I don't want to go down there again and her brother got a flashlight, like, Oh sure there's someone down in the basement and he went down into the basement and he saw nothing.

After that, Lee avoided the basement as best she could, however,

Uh her parents, unaware of the apparition she had seen, 'cause she didn't share that with them.

asked her one day to retrieve something from storage.

Uh they wanted her to get a punch bowl because they were gonna have a social event and uh, you know, they stored it downstairs 'cause that's pretty much the only time you use it.

Uh she didn't really want to go down into the cellar but she figured, well, I'll just do it quickly.

Uh so she went down into the basement and she saw the figure again with a woman in his arms.

And this woman looked dead.

He laid her on the floor and started digging a hole.

basically grabbed the punch bowl and ran upstairs and didn't say anything to her parents still.
