Yeah, I mean to some degree and also me putting it aside and rereading it.

I mean, I do think one of the advantages of writing, you know, there's delete, but there's also that

You know, you dra rewriting is a huge part of writing.

And you can learn as you go, you can make yourself better, wiser, kinder, more generous um in each draft.

And I feel like that helps the draft and it helps the person.

You know, it's it's kind of a great thing that you can do that with input from others and not.

And I think that no risk, no reward.

You know, if people are getting upset, it's because you're challenging something.

And ideally you're not randomly challenging it.

You're challenging it because of some inequity or, you know, not good outcome.

Um, you know, so so it's a risk that's worth taking because if the potential benefit is to many, um, then you take that risk.

And particularly if you've thought it through and vetted it, you know, then then maybe they just have a very different stance on life or different values, as can happen.

And sometimes people write you letters and you learn something really important.

Well, I think it it it does vary a lot, you know, from journals to to books.

You know, and and many of us have had the experience of you get all kinds of feedback that's helpful or you get things that are sort of out there.

Um, my book editor, you know, I have a multi book deal, so I've had the same editor who is a lovely and helpful person.

Um and

And generally like I'll know where the weak points are and she'll just, you know, say, like, Well, I really f I'm like, Yeah, I know.
