I genuinely don't know because like I say, Keir promoted me on a number of occasions.

We always got on perfectly fine.

So I can't I really genuinely can't explain what went so disastrously wrong.

But we've not had a single personal conversation since.

So hurtful.

No, of course, it takes a huge amount of work to set a culture in an organization, and especially one as disparate and enormous and sweeping as a government and that has such an interaction with the media on a daily basis.

So it's going to take leadership, not just from Andy, but from across the whole political and staff team.
