So you are a prize-winning opera singer and soloist and I've watched your TED tour and I've heard you sing and very briefly in person heard the power of your voice.

I could see you were holding yourself back and even then it was quite something to behold, being that close to an opera singer.

How did that start, Susan?

Now, this audition you did and you were told that you have a lovely voice and I love if you, I'll try and put the link to your TED talk because it's a lovely, the way you present that.

You mentioned somewhere in your literature, the Meister effect.

Is this what you're talking about, how somebody saw something in you

and recognised it and said, you know, you've got a talent here, go get it?

advantages that that foundation that I didn't have yes you still yes had that person who believed in you and obviously something internal apart from a love of the music there's got to be something internal about the personality the determination you obviously have a strong woman to drive yourself that must have been present to think yeah I'm gonna do this absolutely and and

Yes, that is very true.

Sometimes difficult to maintain the vision.

I think that takes work, doesn't it?

Yes, it does.

Maintaining it.

Yeah.

Now, it's funny that you should mention that belief and how squiggly careers and how it goes, because just this morning I wrote an article for LinkedIn, which I think probably won't be published for a couple of weeks, but talking about being complimented and how you're talking about standing back and don't promote yourself too much.
