It's a conversation with somebody on the street in the supermarket.
You may or may not look on that.
The challenging ones are the ones, as you mentioned, the difficult conversations, the meetings.
And that means we care.
We think about things because we care about the project, the person, what we have to represent, our own reputation.
So it's okay.
But it's that tipping point, isn't it?
How long do you allow yourself to go through that?
And what do you do about it?
And I think for me, it's also about how long am I going to give myself?
Because pushing what I found in myself, if I'm overthinking, and it's something I'm quite good at, is going over conversations and thinking, oh, it's so bad, I should have said this, what if I think, just as you said, is how long am I going to give myself?
If I don't give myself any time...
then the voices, the sort of mind chatter will get louder.
If I try pushing it away and ignoring it, that's not a technique that works for me or hasn't in the past.
And when I say it hasn't worked, it's just got worse.
And if I don't talk to somebody, as in the person involved,
then it's not just the conversation that's going back.
I find it then develops into replaying the conversation.
And then if I don't say anything, I get another layer of, you really should have said something about that.
And then you get the guilt and all the other feelings that go along.
