Because you can't listen and speak particularly well anyway at the same time.
And I think having that time to process, as introverts often do, not immediately respond, but process what's going on before you're going to get a different response.

Giving people the space to process.
And that's so important, particularly for the multilingual leaders and aspiring leaders.

And I think they need to, I think responsibility is on both sides.

We need to be inclusive and give some credit to the amount of work that's going on internally, but they also need, I would love it for all the multilingual speakers, brilliant professional scientists, to have that inner knowledge and self-worth to think, just to say to themselves,

I feel shame and less and that really drives me to a war when I see people sitting back and feeling less and criticising their language, which they feel is bad.
