So that story went out the window really quickly.
A comment was made almost like, well, I guess you got me.

So at that point, a decision was made to go ahead and
swear to a warrant back here in North Carolina, which we did, and then he was taken into custody in Houston, and then the extradition process started.
He was charged with first-degree murder, and they took a plea for second degree.
He is now in the custody of the Department of Corrections for the state of North Carolina.
Mr. Plummer, I'm calling you to let you know that we have the person in custody who took your son's life.
I'm glad you didn't give up on my son's case.
I'm glad that you didn't forget.
That was always our concern, the family's concern.
Thank you for never forgetting.
If I lived to be 100 years old, the crime scene and this kid's picture...
I would probably remember them, even if I lived to be an old, old man.
