The second thing is, once you've got that data, Palantir is building a suite of apps that tackle specific clinical problems to help cut waiting lists or speed up cancer diagnoses.
There are specific apps built that pull the right pieces of information together for that specific problem.

It's a platform for doing analytics and forecasting so that when analysts are kind of looking ahead to, say, a rough winter and they're trying to figure out bed capacity or A&E intakes and stuff like that, they've got really rich, useful data to build that on.
I think there's a very compelling argument that NHS information management needed reform.
And there was also a terrible, tragic history of government failures and botched jobs in the past.
Tony Blair was the first to try.
They spent about £12 billion trying to centralise patient data in a similar way to this.
And we then had something called care.data when, again, there was this top-down, centralised approach.
Let's put all the health data in one place.
And in that case, what happened is the government ended up selling the records to private health insurance.
Ouch.
And public trust was just so badly damaged because people really care about the health data.
They don't want companies to know their most intimate secrets.
Well, I think they chose Palantir for this contract because the tender was effectively tilted in Palantir's favour and the very sophisticated influence campaign basically bore fruit.
The rationale has always been they have the best product on the market and they can do things that no one else can.
They have magic code, if you like, a secret sauce that British firms just can't compete with.
What we've seen is the rollout of the FDP began in April 2024.
And almost immediately, there were problems and there was resistance.
So then the rollout begins.
