That requires, you know, to solve these issues requires common standards and uh and robust data architectures.
And I think that the commercial industry is now a key player because we have achieved that kind of uh that kind of milestone.
Um I think, you know, historically
Um one, you know, a a given end user would collect everything, would download everything, uh would process everything.
Um but but it is, you know, it is a processing burden, as you mentioned, and uh and that approach no longer scales.
Um you know, today agencies are increasingly prioritizing uh change detection, automatic alerting, you know, there's a lot of that, there's a lot of identification of anomalies.
Again, you know, it's more about the outcomes of the data than the data itself.
Um, and we have AI capabilities built into many of our satellites that analyze the data on board.
Um, and they transmit higher value information rather than, you know, treating every image equally as it was in the past.
So um the objective is sort of to manage maximize the decision relevance rather than
to maximize the data volume.
Well, um, I think the key may be time, you know, missions where time has an operational value, um, you know, for for uh activities such as defense monitoring or disaster response or or border security.
Um whereas you know, where where initial analytics is uh it it's a big plus, okay?
And there's also um where I I'll mention example.
But there's also architectures of ISL or inter-satellite links that are our new paradigm to allow for near time, near real-time decision making.
So we uh we closed a project, this is almost two years old now, and we're in phase three of it.
Um, a project uh funded by the Office of Naval Research in partnership with a defense contractor.
called IDT.
Uh that is a project project called Slingshot, where the ONR funded two satellites that we launched in November that have ISL capabilities built in.
That means that they can talk and you know between each other and to geosatellites and improve latency drastically.
