So my name is Louisa Renato and I'm the owner of the therapy garden and we are located in Mohmouth County, New Jersey.
Yes.
So right now I primarily serve an array of clients.
So I do see pediatrics and I love them to pieces.
And I also serve adults, but I serve adults with special needs.
And that kind of seems to be like a little bit of like a lost area of therapy almost.
I do have very close connection.
I have a brother who is 25 with Down syndrome.
So seeing and growing up with him.
And now seeing where his friends are, what his friends need, what he needs.
not seeing that available in our community as easily accessed as some other types of speech therapy might be.
So that was kind of my my way of going in and saying, hey, I would like to hone in on this, help my brother, but also help everyone else in his community, in our community, and build from there.

So I mean, I started thinking about private practice like a while ago, you know, like in like when I first realized I wanted to be a speech therapist, I was like, maybe one day I could have a facility of my own that I can offer all of these different services and family support and sibling support and all of these great things.
And I immediately jumped, you know, to that big umbrella and I was like, I'm gonna do all these things.
And then I had to slow my roll.
and kind of be like, all right, we're going step by step here.
But I kind of knew out of grad school that I didn't want to be in a school necessarily.
So, you know, getting my degree in education and special education, my undergrad years were spent in schools.
