And then I might say
to mom, dad or the caregiver that is there, like, how about next week we'll meet at Shop Right?
You know, and we are gonna take this and move it another step and like give an extra challenge, but make it realistic and functional.
And I love that about that type of speech therapy.
And that's what I think really like when I talk to the caregivers, I talk to the parents and I say, look, this is the type of therapy that I offer, it give them the option to say like that's not what I want or that is what I want.
But most of the time they're like, Oh my God, I didn't even think that you could do that with speech therapy.
I thought you were just gonna be like sitting at the dining room table all the time.
And sometimes we do.
Like sometimes that's if that's what works and that's something that we're comfortable with in this moment.
Fine, but I will push them a little bit more.
Like, let's go do it outside.
Let's go to the backyard.
Cause like sometimes we get some of my clients can be like very rigid in what they want.
And if I speech, I'm gonna be at this table and that's it, you know?
Okay, but we can also do speech outside in the backyard or we can also do speech in the kitchen.
So like movie it doesn't have to be necessarily let's go to the Walmart, but we can move twenty feet to the left into the kitchen.
And that's like a huge other world for them, you know?
