guys who you were expecting to step up and maybe put pressure on the frontliners it didn't really happen for them but in terms of young guys who might be bolters to use your term I think James McNabney is someone who would certainly be in my mind look he's only coming back from an ACL injury which he did last year in Ireland camp just before Ireland were due to go to Georgia and Portugal I think if he hadn't have picked up that injury there's a very good chance he might have been capped already obviously Bryn Ward has been a big beneficiary of that in the Ulster back row

I think McNabney look obviously he'll have to be given time to see how he's recovered from what was a serious injury but he's big he's strong I think there's a rawness to him anyone who watched the Ireland under 20s would have seen seen that as well and they're exactly the type of players that Ireland need I'm fascinated to see if Billy Bohan can kick on again this season like he was amazing like in terms of the breakthrough for someone like

so young um last season but by and large and it's not what people want to see because people are mad to see the younger players being thrown in but i think realistically when it comes down to it i would say right now i don't know if you'd agree then andy farrell would have a very very good idea of his 33 man squad if everyone was fit that would go to australia and i don't think it leaves much scope for bolters
