So, Carolyn, one really interesting thing that I haven't wrote about but was one of the more interesting things that came out of that press conference day, Matt Sundin did a scrum off to the side, away from cameras, and he was asked, you know, looking back on your exit performance,

from Toronto, they asked you to waive your no move clause.

Would you ever put a player in that position?

And he basically said, no, he's kind of like, I wouldn't, I wouldn't want to be, you know, I didn't really appreciate being asked that.

And I don't know if he would ask that.

So whether you apply that to Austin or William or Morgan, there's a whole bunch of guys, John would move.

And seeing the player's perspective, I don't know if Mats would feel comfortable with that.

Now, that's not to say there isn't a world where Morgan Riley himself feels like that was a season from hell.

I need a fresh start.

And he's open to the idea.

I think you have to have a candid conversation with him.

And if he's open, then you work with the player.

But I do not see a world where the Maple Leafs

try and chop his ice time or throw him up in the press box or create a scene to make him beg out.

But I think you have a conversation with them.

And if he's like, you know what, I'm kind of open to it.
