You'll realise straight away if that player wants to do it or not.
And if he doesn't, you put him into the seconds and fulfil that role with someone who's capable of doing it.

And sooner, if your culture's good enough, strong enough...
they will drag that person along in time.
And if they can't do it in a year or two, then guess what?
You're out and someone else can go and try and revive your career.

Those sore bodies when you can't walk the following day after a game, he still appreciates all that because he understands once he hangs up the boots, that's gone.

He understands what that football club has done for him, was able to bring him back to his hometown.
