And next time they get that opportunity without Cripps, they'll be better for it.
Well, it all depends on where the rules get changed again.
If they want the game to continue to go fast, it's where the AFL sit back and go, well, the game's gone too fast, we need to slow it down because we've got too many soft tissue injuries, which is totally different from what they've made the rules for this year.
But there's no doubt those bigger body midfielders...
uh, are losing their spot.
The same as I mentioned before about the, the smaller, bulkier wrestler Ruckman because of the changes that they've made.
Uh, there's even, there's even talk of is, is Cripper better to go to West Coast to teach a Harley Reed and a few of these other guys.
So then Carlton can get some more agility and, and some fresher blokes through, through the middle.
Yeah, it's unfortunate for those bigger body midfielders.
There's obviously Real who's come under question, but he's sort of added a little bit of speed and he's got a little bit of toe and a bit of youth in there as well.
But those style of players are definitely sort of on the back end of what a list manager's looking for.
Yeah, I think the hardest thing for Pearce was he's played 143 games and he's... How long has he been?
This is his 10th year, I think it is.
So you look for a bloke like that.
What you need is a consistent full-back who is known as a great defender and a great leader, is consistency.
And unfortunately, his body hasn't let him do that.
So I think over the last nine years, three times he's played 20 or more games.
There's been one season where he's played every game.
