Well, one of the things he said at the end that caught my attention, he was talking about actually delivering on policies.

But the last time you look back at when Democrats had a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate and they controlled all of government, so they had 60 votes in the Senate, which feels unfathomable right now.
But they had 60 votes in the Senate.
They had the House.
They had the White House.
I believe it was the 89th Congress.
It was 1965.
And that was when Medicaid and Medicare, I believe, were both created.
That was when the Voting Rights Act was passed.
If you look up landmark legislation in 1965, in that Congress in 1965, essentially everything that wasn't in the New Deal...
It was then passed in the mid-60s.
When it comes to public health, when it comes to economic security, I mean, it transformed the country.
And from the 60s came a massive generation of...
progressive boomers because they saw what could happen when they rallied behind jfk lyndon johnson they got a ton of shit done they changed the world for women for minorities um for for gay rights all of that stuff was rooted in the 60s um that was a long fucking time ago though like that was that was 20 years before i was here um
we saw a little bit of that with the like 200 day long filibuster proof majority that Obama had when they got the affordable care act through, we've got a tiny sliver of what can be delivered.
And then of course there was that Scott Brown election.
I think it was in Massachusetts that fucked up the super majority.
And so then we had 59 and then they filibustered everything.
