And he was actually giving them these sort of talks on like motivational kind of talk.

That was mostly what he did, this sort of motivational speech.

And he was with lots of weird references to lobsters and Pinocchio and things like that.

And Blend was kind of a bit of a take on that at one point.

And then I was like, I don't want it to be that.

I want it to just kind of be also just a normal...

a normal English psychology lecturer who is like in his late sixties and is kind of being forced to retire by his university, even if he doesn't want to.

So he becomes, I suppose he becomes kind of increasingly human.

So in some sense, he is the person who's like overseeing the experiment and he's kind of the director of the play that the narrator thinks he's in.

But the play is only real for the narrator.

For Blend, it's just like, why is he taking this so seriously?

For Blend, it's like slightly disturbing why the actor is getting so into the role and is wearing it outside of the experimental setting.

And he's like, so it'll keep like going to Blend and asking him for like notes and asking him for like, how do I improve on this?

And Blend is like, shut up.

All you have to do is sit in silence in a bag.

Like, why are you asking me for any of this?

So Blender's kind of, like, exasperated by the narrator.

That's true, yeah.
