And I think that is the case for everyone.
And this is like the sort of, you know, and we can go to the kind of canon here.
We can talk about like sort of Goethe, like everybody believes that they are both an undiscovered genius and also a maniac who should be in prison at the same time.
And both of those things are constantly in our mind.
Both of those things are true.
and also completely untrue.
But we all have that.
We all have that kind of seesaw constantly in our heads.
And all of those discussions kind of frustrated me massively.
But I also think there is a tendency in memoir and fiction, I really like, there's a Greek writer called Maria Karapanou, who I really like about this, who writes about
the dissolution of her own marriage twice in one novel, in a novel called Rianne Nevaplu.
And in one, in the first half, she's presented as the most sympathetic character.
And the second half, she's presented as a monster.
And both of those things are true.
And it's just both.
And I think sometimes...
I think sometimes the, oh God.
So I wanted to do something, again, this goes back to the kind of performance.
It's like, this goes back to like, you want to sort of absolutely kind of blistering, convincing performance, which is also a complete lie and which is also, so him leaving his parents out of it,
