buy all the stuff and just go, it would take you forever to make your money back.

There are some guys out there fighting the good fight, just kind of building it out, but it's very uncommon these days.
Just because it's such a grind, you have to reinvest every bit of capital, every bit of work.
You have to make up for your deficit with just basically unpaid labor of yourself.
