And as I just said, the counts are falling.
They they haven't got as low as five to ten.
But they're moving down.
On average people are still fertile, obviously, because otherwise
People wouldn't get pregnant, but they're down the lower end, the forty level, forty million per mil level and going lower.
And even more concerningly, they reckon they're dropping by one percent a year.
So if that continues, it will get down to levels where men will have trouble conceiving an egg.
And that's why it's a very important thing.
And it's quite difficult to fertilize an egg.
The reason why it's a numbers game is this the ejaculate goes in and the sperm starts swimming.
And they have to swim a long way.
If it was a human, you would swim from California to Hawaii.
That's the distance we're talking about.
So these sperm are fantastic little things in terms of they're they're swimming away, they're burning fructose, interestingly.
There's a sugar in the seminal plasma called fructose.
