And you mix them in there with the young guys and skill like Hudson and Dobson, Gooley, Matheson, obviously, unbelievable, too.
And then they're just deep.
I mean...
they're they're four lines deep and uh a lot of speed and kind of like same thing with that that mix with uh you know anderson and their power play is unbelievable too i mean you know there are five dangerous options and they zip it around they're they're always on the move it's not like a traditional power play where you know they set up on one side and kind of run it through like a kucherov for example it's uh a lot of movement everyone's getting their touches and you know behind the back passes uh hudson's everywhere and yeah it's uh
And that's a big part of it, too, and incredible goaltending right now, too.
So, yeah, they're obviously a dangerous team.
And, you know, the series obviously could have gone either way with them in Tampa and, you know, them in Buffalo.
And a couple of big Game 7 performances from their goalie, and here they are.
It's insane.
I mean, obviously, the game's changed.
I still believe he... I mean, I'm probably a dinosaur and a little bit biased for thinking this way.
I think you still need the big, heavy defenseman, obviously.
Damn right.
Damn right.
But...
My opinion is you can have a guy like that if they control the game.
Not a second power play guy or a 5'6 guy, but a guy who can control the game and lug the mail and play big minutes.
He defends really hard too.
For me, the perfect comparison that I got to play with is I played with Quinn Hughes when he first came out of college.
played his first six or seven games together as partners in Vancouver, and second go-around when I came back from Tampa, and they remind me very closely of each other, just not the biggest guys, but not even the straightaway speed, but just the edges, I would say, and be able to kind of, you know, at DMAT sometimes you're just kind of sitting up there trying to get the shot through, but they're attacking wingers coming out at them, so it's just a different way that they're playing the game, and that's impressive as hell to see.
