I was a young defenseman at one point in my career and I remember, you know, some veteran guys who worked with me and I'm looking forward to kind of reciprocating that and paying it forward a little bit.
And that's, you know, talking to guys off the ice and in the gym and going out for dinners and after ice or after the, after practice, staying on the ice, it's not just, you know, just because I'm a veteran guy, I need to get off the ice.
Like that's not the way I've ever really done things.
It's, it's yeah.
Continue to work at your game and,
never be satisfied.
So I'm looking forward to kind of getting the chance.

that's how it was when I first got in the league.
I mean, obviously the Sedins were there and, you know, Luongo and BX and Burroughs and, you know, the list goes on and coming into Vancouver was a miserable place to play when I was, when I was first breaking into the league, but they obviously had that culture where they played for one another and they were all proud to be there.
And for whatever reason, it's maybe gone off the tracks in the last little few years, but it shouldn't be that case.
It should be a place where players are pumped to come to and a destination.
And,
