Because if they're wrong, they take the blame.
It's so easy to be in the front office and be like, Sam Darnold's not a guy.
He can't lead us to a championship.
Because if you're the guy who says, yes, he is a guy, and stands on the table and bangs your fist, it's like, okay, we'll ride with him for a year, but if he's not, we're all going to come back and point the finger at you.
So the NFL and the way it's situated in those meeting rooms is, and I think the Bills are a prime, prime example of this recently, it's not really conducive to guys sticking their chests out and demanding what they want.
And the prime example is Keon Coleman.

The owner goes, well, I was in there.
