Well, as a tactic, if you've got a parenting plan you've got a verbal arrangement of fifty fifty, once you put that in writing as a written parenting plan, then it's a lot harder to change, but you haven't put anything in writing.

So I'd be looking for the gradual increase of time.

Perhap be the person available when your ex can't mind them for the night or just gradually move.

move in a very slow way to slowly take a bit of extra time to you.

Because they're high conflict, they're going to want it in a writing.

And so they can secure it.

But if

you've got a father who is not going to be the best for the children, you won't know until they've been having week about and now you're thinking that's not really good for the children.
