You're right.
Actually, there are actually a number of moments, big moments in our lives that we've started to notice scammers targeting people all over the world, including in Australia.
And tax time is no different from one of those.
But there were some other moments that in a recent study that we did of 10,000 consumers around the world, a thousand of them being from Australia.
And, you know, we've also seen this pattern that people impersonating businesses or the government tends to be at the top because we are more prone to pay attention when we're trusting.
Yes.
Yes, we are.
So unfortunately, the scammers.
They're not just taking chances.
They are full-on, very well-run businesses.
So they understand their target markets very well, and they're going to take advantage of those times when we might be a little bit more vulnerable, might have our defenses down a little bit.
And tax season, other moments are when we're making very big investments or purchases.
That's correct.
But it's not just the fact that they're, once again, trying to impersonate a business because they're well aware that you're in the middle of this transaction.
It's also that they're catching us at a moment when our anxiety might be a little bit higher.

big purchases like that very frequently.
So we're probably gonna be engaging with a party we've never met before.
