But what we would have is a lake.
So if you want to look for biological materials, perhaps the lake is the place to go.
The delta is really pretty.

It's been partially eroded.
You can see the channel came down here, and it's got all of these patterns that you see just in deltas on Earth, too.
This color image shows where some of the different composition materials are.
So the red is basalt, so it's just volcanic rock.
And then the green is clays, and then the blue is carbonates.
So there's different materials.
And we think we could drive up onto the delta.
So engineers have been working using 3D models.
And they think you can actually drive up onto the delta.
And then we asked them, like, can you drive, like, up here and then, like, up here and then drive out of the crater?
And then we could just go to both landing sites at the same time.
And they were like, uh, we'll get back to you on that.
So I don't know if that's going to be possible.
Probably not.
Although people have talked about it.
And one of the advantages to the northeast Serta site, of course, is that you can keep going.
