Anything can happen.
But when you hear you're positive, you're reminded that anything can happen.
And so you just kind of recalibrate your priorities.
And that's a part of my process that I've been doing.
It was, uh, scary.
Um, I was, uh, actually getting my hair done and this is gonna sound really stupid, but I passed out.
Um, and my salon, my, my therapist, not my salon therapist, she's basically my therapist.
Um, my stylist called 911.
I wake up, I'm in the ambulance.
They think I'm having a heart attack.
Long story short, it's pericarditis, which was sort of like a virus had attacked the fluid that surrounds the outer membrane of your heart.
And so it can be interpreted as a heart attack by, you know, some EKG readers.
And that was what was happening with me.
So I had some brief exploratory surgery to see if I was actually having a heart attack and rule that out and then began the battery of tests.
And that's when I learned.
And my now husband and boyfriend was right there, and he didn't blink.
My son, who was in the room in the hospital when they thought I was having a heart attack, I did have him leave when we found out it wasn't a heart attack because I just wanted to be able to process whatever it was going to be because he was still young at the time, and I needed to make sure that I was feeding him information that he needed to know at a time in which he needed to know it.
FYI, he got this piece and thus the information on me being positive at around the same time you did.
So that's how long I've been keeping it to myself.
And my husband has been keeping it to himself.
