I think it's Armando Diego Maradona in Santoki.
He's flown in mere hours ago from Naples.
He's giving the fans what they want.
Santoki, how you doing?
Yeah, and it's interesting that Torhid, obviously I messaged Torhid after the press conference, after game two, and I said to Torhid, what was given away by Akil as to why he's only playing his first ODI since the World Cup qualifiers, right?
Mm-hmm.
Torhid said, boy, Akil gave no answers to the question.
He said, I asked him and he was like, well, you know, and this and that and so on and so forth.

It can't be as simple as Sammy's asked him to.
It can't be as simple as Sammy's just not selected him.
I have to assume that there have been times and the thing is, I'm saying this on purpose because whoever wants to take vex with me saying this will come out in the public and answer and respond, right?
Yeah.
I have to assume that at some point in the last two years, Sami has selected Akil, and Akil has said no, because it doesn't make sense otherwise, right?
The only other argument that could be given that I'm willing to hear is that
For a period of time, Sammy and his backroom staff and selectors decided that Malti was the go-to left-arm spinner and they didn't need two, so therefore Akil wasn't picked as well.
But from the minute we debunked that in the T20 World Cup, right, and the T20 games where Malti and Akil both play in the T20 side, from the minute you started debunking that and showing that you could play both left-arm orthodox spinners in the shortest format, what was the justification to not play both
in the 50-over format.
And if anything, Santolki, let's bear this in mind.
Akil jumped off a plane, landed at the team, got to the team hotel at four o'clock in the morning on the day of the second ODI, played all of the second ODI completely gassed out,
