I would prefer Romario Shepard, if he's going to play for the West Indies, to be in the side because he's a consistent bowler.
So there's an argument to say that Shemar Joseph and Romario Shepard should technically be battling for the same spot.
I would throw Jadon Seals into that spot as well and say, of those four, who is the more effective T20 bowler?
But they're effectively fine for the same spot.
Unless, of course, you drop Roston Chase.
Bowler number two who I've identified, we go back to Obed McCoy again.
At the moment, he's played six matches.
He's taken eight wickets.
His economy is high for me.
I don't like the economy.
It's 9.82.
But he has taken his eight wickets at 21 apiece, right?
And so far in CPL in his six games, he's bowled 17 overs.
Is he fit again?
And the simple reality of the situation is this.
If Obed McCoy is fit and looks like he can stay fit, then of course he must leapfrog Judea Blades.
And we tell Judea Blades to go sit down and get some reps in, in some T20 cricket.
So the question really for me is,
Is this Auburn McCoy that we're seeing in this year's CPL?
Is this a foreshadow of someone who is now going to stay fit and therefore we can put back into West Indies conversations and considerations?
