Mom and dad, here's why you should not give me a later bedtime.
These are the reasons you want.
And anyone who's going to present that argument needs to be able to understand both sides.
And if you think about a kindergartner who's able to talk about both the good and bad of a later bedtime, and then you start moving that, imagine a world where adults could have conversations about politics, about religion, about social issues, and be able to strongly argue and understand multiple perspectives.
What an incredible world that would be.
Those, again, are the kinds of skills that schools should be teaching.
The ability to be able to look at media.
I just actually saw there was an article that came out or a YouTube video, actually, that came out about me and our school.
And it's just like,
The most inaccurate, ridiculous thing.
And the picture of me is so AI generated, you don't even recognize, you know, it's like a weird, weird blonde gal.
But it's not me.
But it's like, wow, media is literally lying to us.
You know, it is absolutely lying, lying to us about so many things.
And it's important for us to give kids the skills to be able to see through that.
And again, the critical thinking ability to be able to say, OK, let's be clear on on again, all sides of an argument, all understanding of that, how to get accurate research.
And that's the other thing is that, you know, when we have all the knowledge in the world right here at the tip of our fingers, what we need to do is teach people how to go and become experts, how to learn to learn, how to learn to learn.
That is a huge skill.
And unfortunately, in traditional school, kids are taught to just sit back and wait for the information to be released.
put to you.
