So this is something that retirees really ought to reconsider because supporting retirees

family members is a very kind and generous thing to do.

However, if in fact you can't really afford to do it, it's a place where you should have a conversation with your family about what's realistic in terms of you helping them to bridge a bad financial situation.

Well, there's a blurred line between work and retirement.

I mean, we used to think about if you're retired, you're not working at all.

Well, many retirees are choosing to continue working or to go back to work.

Now, they may not wanna work as hard

as they work during their prime working years.

But actually, work is something that many of them really enjoy doing.

I mean, they like the interaction with other people.

They like to keep themselves busy and have a sense of purpose.

And of course, when you're living on a fixed income, that's much more difficult to do financially than if you have a paycheck coming in.

So even if it's just working part-time or

flex time, which is becoming more and more possible.

This is something that retirees told us in our study that they really wanted to pursue.

Very large numbers told us that.
