And I've done that climb so many times in Drona.

And I was just like, Oh, I'm actually gonna just like push a little bit more of this because this is just like it's beautiful and like I'm so nearly done.

So I think I also like pushed a little bit more there.

Um and then I was also like, I wanna smash the record from last year.

I thought that like someone can't be next year if I can.

I also think with that, when I said it to him in the interview, I said, I'm going for the record because I can't control what other riders do, but I can control what I do.

So it was it wasn't like I'm going to try and win the race.

I know that winning a race, especially an ultra race, you can't control what anyone else is doing.

So like if someone's better than you, you're not gonna win the race.

But like I can control how fast I ride.

The 560, or like it was just under 560, like 550k.

Like that is actually within all my control.

So I said to him, like.

I I can try and go for the record.

I can beat the record.

And if someone else beats me and they also beat the record, well, fair play to them.

But like all I can do is set my own goal, which is to beat the record.

Um and then yeah, during the race, I just got a bit more ambitious with that.

I was like, right, I'm going for it.
