You described the fear of the Lord really well in a previous episode recording that we did together, that it's this beautiful thing that makes you want to be as close to him as possible and not want to be far from him or separated from him.
I think when we think about the fear of the Lord, it's like, I'm scared of God.
But it's not that it's you actually just want to be so close to him and you don't want to partake in anything that separates you from him, any type of sin.
And so I would just say, yes, run to him, go to him with everything.
But also there shouldn't be a casualness to it in the sense of we're just treating God like he's, you know, he's your homie.
He's just like, you know, he's still to be worshipped.
And yeah, you know.
Totally, totally.
I love that.
It reminds me of, I think it's Proverbs 18, 10.
And it says that the Lord is a strong tower that the righteous can run to and find safety.
That the name of the Lord, so even just calling upon his name is that strong tower that we can run to for safety.
Literally just speaking the name of Jesus.
And so sometimes I'll just, if I don't even know what else to say or pray, I'm just like, in the name of Jesus, help me, you know?
But just knowing that he, I love that you said he's always accessible and available.
And Hebrews talks about, we can approach his throne of grace with confidence.
Like we can enter his presence with confidence and assurance that he hears us, that he loves us, that he sees us, that he cares for us.
But it's not a flippant or casual, just like I can go live however I want to live and God's still there.
There's still a...
fear of him and a worship of him, but yet an access and a he wants us.
