Well, one, I will tell you, anybody who says Congress is the best job in the world, they are.
I don't know what kind of terrible life they lived prior to this.
You know, when I first got to Congress, I was making a lot of money.
Yeah, oh, the insider trading, let me tell you, they all know how to get that done, both sides of the aisle.
But no, so I'll tell you, my genuine belief is that term limits, you know, people, there's a constitutional argument here where people say, well, we do have term limits, it's called elections.
But unfortunately, institutionalized power that you get, let's say you're on the Ways and Means Committee or you're on the Appropriations Committee, I swear you will have literally infinite money to defend yourself against
Because every time your pen touches paper inside that committee room, you are sending billions and billions of dollars to other places.
So if someone's getting $2 billion appropriated to them to put hand sanitizer machines inside of C-130s, you don't think they're going to be willing to put $100 million into a super PAC for a congressional race?
And you will win with $100 million.
I don't care if you're brain dead.
You see Nancy Pelosi got elected over and over again.
You see Maxine Waters got elected over and over again.
And so
My idea, I do like the idea of term limits, but I will say I have one caveat on that.
The term limits also must be applied to bureaucrats.
Now I think that, you know, federal agencies should not have nearly the amount of power they have.
They should be totally rolled back.
But until that happens,
Really, the problem we have in Washington, D.C., is that we have all these political appointees from the executive branch, but it is the bureaucrats, the deep state, who are trying to destroy the lives of common Americans because, unfortunately, the people inside of Washington, D.C.
's beltway, they think that everybody else is stupid.
