And I think that so many of us are intimidated by prayer because maybe we haven't been taught the power of prayer

or the posture of how to pray, or we make it a little bit more about us.

It's like, oh, I've got to have the right words.

It's got to be formal.

I've got to say the right things.

And the Lord's not looking for formality.

Like he just wants your heart.

He just wants a relationship with you.

And then when you study the scriptures, you just see like even turning to Luke 17, it gives you so many different parables on prayer.

And he even gives this parable of the persistent widow.

And he's like, hey, this is a picture of how I want you to pray.

And the summary takeaway is never stop praying.

Keep coming back with the same prayers again and again and again.

Don't give up.

Just keep praying.

And I heard a pastor say once this acronym called PUSH, pray until something happens.

And I haven't forgotten that.

And so even just like praying very specific with God, but also using it as just a time to connect with him.

Not just using it as this is our time so that I can get something from you, God.

But this is a time where I just want to be with you, God.
